CTL League Structure:
We are top level men’s 18+ adult amateur baseball. This is baseball for guys who want to keep playing for the love of the game, and to continue to make themselves better… amateur summer league baseball. We are full of current and former college baseball players, and a few former pros.

Monthly meetings begin the year in January. Both interested teams and previous teams attend (interested teams please contact any one from the league contacts page). It is mandatory a team representative attend the meetings. Teams are responsible for league dues and coming up with their share of home field games before the season starts. The league develops a schedule and provides umpires, insurance, and baseballs. Games start around mid May and finish mid August. All teams participate in the playoffs starting Mid August through the end of the month. Seeding’s are determined by the standings.

Game Play:
CTL is a hard ball twilight league with teams originating from the larger central Connecticut area. Ages are 18+. Most games start at 6pm and all games last 7 innings. If the fields do not have lights or weather is factor, games will be called at the umpire’s discretion. All games are considered on until the umpire calls the game. If the umpire calls the game prior to the start, a phone call will be issued to the team representative. Canceled games will be made up. Each team is allowed to carry as many players as they choose.  CTL is a wooden bat league and will only be using wooden bats for league play.
